My thoughts about a "car free city".

First off all. I must say it's a great goal to aim for. Altought, I dont think it's that simple.
It's a big step to take... Maybe too big. I think the cities should focus on getting charging stations for electrical cars. As far as I now, electrical cars is problaby our future cars. Give the manufacturers some time to invent new cars, new motors, etc and invite the future instead of just deny it.
I guess oil is the main enemy to electrical cars. It's safe to say that people just thinking about money instead of saving our planet. But they wont have a planet to use the money on if they keep doing what they do :). I hope the turning point is near, but we'll see about that. This city project is intresting, and new ideas is always worth to take a look on. But mostly, the best way to change, is to do it step by step. I wonder if you could change something step by step in a fast way and still have a good outcome  =D
